INGREDIENTS

Dry Mix

  • 1 cup(s) unbleached all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup(s) cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup(s) sugar
  • ¼ cup(s) dark chocolate chips (Chocolate 50% or more)
  • ¼ cup(s) grated coconut
  • ¼ tsp baking soda

Liquid Mix

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp rum extract
  • ½ cup(s) thick coconut cream (Full cream)

Garnish (Optional)

  • ¼ cup(s) grated coconut

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
    Oven temperature at 350F.
  • Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
    Mixing all the ingredient for making kidney healthy choco-coco-rum balls.
  • Liquefy the coconut cream in a small saucepan over low heat.
    Liquefy the coconut cream to make chocolate-coconut-rum balls.
  • When the coconut cream is quite liquid and uniform, mix in the vanilla extract and the rum extract.

  • Pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture and mix until you get a lumpy paste.

  • With your hands, form and squeeze balls with a volume of one tablespoon. If desired, add grated coconut. (Optional)
